INJURED PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY. (Per United Press Association ) AUCKLAND, May 28. 'Satisfactory progress was reported to-night in regard to ail the* passengei s who weTe only injured in the Rail way disaster at Whangamarino. Nervous shock caused by their ternble experience in the wrecked sleep ing car was modified for some hourb by their excitement, but four passeu- t gers who suffered most had all devejloped symptoms of severe shock todaw Those who escaped physical injury were klso virtually prostrated. The condition of Mr. Goldingham was slighty improved. He was able to sleep for about three hours, during the night, but he is suffering rrom severe nervous shock, and^will becqjf fined to bed for some time. His physic.^ injuries include ' a deep wound below the left eye. and extensive bruis in or on the shoulders. „ Satisfactory progress is bHne made by Mr. John Swinson, of Wellington, who is a patient in Waikato hospital.
