1 SYDNEY, Nov: 23. The Telegraphy in commenting on the New Zealand Liquor Bill, says, ■that it establishes records for Australasia in several jrespects, notably in .regard to eliminating the middle issue. The wisdom of this i s questionable. There are many who would not vote no license if ot meant no liquor, while others, while wishing 'to see the number of licenses reduced, were disinclined for wiping them all out. It concludes : "The far-flung scheme of the Bill is capped by the provision to prevent the defeat of it's intent on technical grounds. This sort of immunity has been sought .often, but seldom found, and of 'the Bill reveals the way to ensure it New Zealand has achieved another triumph in advanced legislation.
