PROPOSED ALTERATION IN THE CALENDAR.

In conformdty with the decision of the Commercial Congress ar. London, in June, the Federal Council is consulting the powers about arranging for an international conference for the Reform of the Gregorian calendar on ■the basis of a year of 364 days.
