ED
(By Telegraph— Per Press Association]
NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 2b.
A complaint has been made here that though Taranaki petroleum shares con tinue to be quoted a.t seven shillings to seven shillings and ninepence on OU'iside stock exchanges', inquiries from here fail to secure any at under ten shillings or six 'pence higher, and the price at which transactions take place is from ten shillings to 'twelve shillings. " The opinion is expressed that some influence is being brought to bear which is unfavourable to 'tl&e oil industry. .
