,A .series of willy-willies are reported' from north west.
A hundred luggers arc beached a. Broome.
Five whites are missing - and the town is considerably damaged.
Man}' buildings have been blown dowL* and a portion of the jetty destroyed.
The Australian destroyers just miss ed the gales.
-Willy-Avilly is the name of a violent pale on the north west of Australia. •The name evidently originated from the native aborig-inals.
