GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.
The statutory annual meeting of the Grey County Council wos iheld yesterday at noon. Present — Crs J. Tindale (chair), J. Harg.reaves, J. Ryall, J. McCarthy, M. Hannaoi, R. Harris, J. Finn and Hon. James Marshall.
Cr Hargreaves dn presenting" his annual statement said he was pleased to inform the members that the position was ■ much better than at the same period last year, during the year the' position had improved by £1,---230 0s Id, and the revenue had increased by over £500. It was very gratifying 1 to -the councillors to have such a statement before them. He moved the adoption of the statement.
Hon. James Marshall in seconding said he statement was -very satisfactory and the chairman and councillors should' feel gratified. Carried.
