AMUSEMENTS.

POLLARD'S PICTURES

Despite the counter attraction s a large audience' was present at the Opera House last evening to witness the change of programme of living pictures. The display was an excellent one, most of the pictures being far above the ordinary. The A.B. film "An Affair of Hearts" was a departure from that company's usual dramatic seroes. The comic element prevailing. Sea Bird Rocks, and The Italian Lakes were two very fine pictures. The star production of the evening "Living New. York" is quite <;qual to Living London and wa s alone worthy of a visit. "The Fore Chief's Daughter" and other first-class pictures made up one of the finest displays that Mr Pollard has given. Another display will be given tonight when patrons of good pictures can make sure of Avc/tnessing a first-class programme.
