At the Bank of New South Wales half yearly meeting, the report, which was adopted, showed a profit of .two hundred and one thousand six hundred and forty seven pounds. A dividend of ten per centum was declared, absorbing one hundred and thirty three thousand seven ' hundred and nine pounds. Interest on new capital, paid in advance, .took six thousand nine hundred and fifty eight pounds. Forty three thousand two' hundred and eighty pounds have been added to the reserve fund and officers provident fund. '■•'.. Ten thousand pounds balance lias been carried forward. Advances show an increase of one million six hundred thousand pounds well sDread throughout Australasia. The chairman stated that the season had been favourable both in Australia and New Zealand.
