VVELLINGTON, Nov. 22
'Iv the Council this afternoon the Dentist Amendment Bill was consider«;r. in comminee and progress was reyc rted after substituting -clause 2 hy a new clause making- provision for the r&gistratiojQ of any person who passed the examination in dentistry by a dental board constituted under the Dentists Act 1880, or who was before .or at the time or within 15 months subsequent to the passing, of the Den tists Act 1904 an apprentice' of a person qualified to be registered under that Act. Application for registration under this section must be made with ■in three months after the coming . of this Act into operation, and no person can be registered under the Act after the 31st Decemer 1911. The following Bills passed their final stages ; — ■ -, Monopolies Prevention. . Urewera District. . Native Reserve Amendment. Public Health Amendment. Shipping and Seamen Amendment. Railway Au(thior.tsa,tibn. The Council then, adjourned.
