The Pukaki is due from southen ports with a cargo of genera! produce on Tuesday. The Jane Douglas arrived from Oka» tito yesterday afternoon. The Mapourika leaves Wellington today for Grey via usual ports, and is due here on Monday. She sails again on her rerurn trip in the evening. The Pareora will sail for Napier tins afternoon wfth a cargo of Blackball coal. j The Waveriey sailed last night for Nelson direct and Wellingfcoa, The Kennedy arrived last evening from Wellington, via Nelson. She sails at 6 p m to-night. The Alexander^ is due about noon today from' Wellington, and sails at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Nelson and Wanganui. The Westport Company looks for the arrival afc an early date of ' the barque Dochra (1000 tons) from Albany, Western Australia, to load coal for tba islands. Mr W. Scofcb late second officer of the Koonya, and Mr H. MawsoD, sreond officer of the Kaifcuna, have exchanged positions. Mr McLeod, third officer of the Mapourika, hns joined the Arahura in a similar capacity, in place of Mr Cochrane. Mr G. A. Salt, who was recently tranaferred from the Union Steamship Company's s.*.. Mapourika to a similar post on the now steamer Arahura, was presented by the former vessel with a travelling dressing-case bearing his name on a silver plate, as a farewell token of respect and esteem. The barque Chipperkyle, which left Newcastle on April 8 for Valpariso with 2730 tons of coal, has been posted at Lloyd's as missing. She is a Liver* pool vessel, and. loft Newcastle under Captain David Wilson, who bad- a crew of tweafcy->"five meo.
