(Received Oct 6Jh 11 35 p.m) SYDNEY, Oct 6. At the Land Commission a number of Bank officials were examined regarding Mr Crick's banking accounts. In one case in connection wi'Jh the sale of a property ' wherein. Peter Close gave evidencl- of receiving £500 commission of which he handed Mr Crick half, a bank manager deposed that tlie owner of this property in June: 1901 drew £500 from his account. Witness took the number of tlie notes before paying out. Tho man who drew th & amountf informed him whs/, H.m intended doing .with them. In December following the same notes were paid by Mr Crick's brotW 'r to Mt« Crick's bnnkingr account. Peter Close, further examined detailed a conversation with Mr Crick who said: 'These land agents are making a lot of money. There 's y.o reason vrhy you and I ehou.!d not mak« some.
