For the nine months of the present year ending September 30th, tho total returns from Otago and Southland dredges amounted to 59,963 ozs, as compared with 66,719 ozs for the correspon'linjj period last year. West Coast dredges produced 15,311 ozs for the pasb nine months as compared with 21,248 czs for the corresponding period last year, and 22,285 ozs for 1903.
