Mr Petric addressed ai meeting at Ngahro-e last night at which thef-e wei« about one hundred and fifty present. Mr James Leifcch presided. Mr Petne's remarks were on similar lines to those I at, his previous me f ?tings. On the motion •of Mr E. Darlarid, seconded by Mt G Clark, it was unanimoualy agree* : Th*t Mr Petrie ,is a fit and proper person to reprcsont 'the electorate of Grey in Parliament. A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the meeting Mr Joseph Potrie -will address the dec tors of Ahaura this evening, and Dun>>l--I'e on Monday. The main Wanganui electoral r«ll contains 7199 names, as against 5908 in 1902.
