Death of Dennis Ryall.
The news of the death of Mr Dennis Ryall, of Barry town, was received in town yesterday with surprise and true ; feeling of regret. Mr Ryall came to ; town, accompanied by his wife to attend the funeral of the late Mrs White. After the funeral his wife decided to stay in town with her daughter, Mrs Moore. Mr Ryall left town about three o'clock in the afternoon, and arrived home a little after 8 o'clock. He did not complain of feeling unwell, and was as jovial a c - ever. About eleven o'clock he was seized with severe pains near the heart, and got a mustard plaster applied. This did not ease the pains, and shortly after death intervened. Deceased was a truehearted, honest Irishman, straight in all his dealings and fair to his fellowmen. He was the true type of the pioneers that are only too fast leaving us. He arrived at Barrytown about 37 years ago, and carved out a home for himself and his wife, and resided there ever since. He reared a family of three daughter and two sons, who have been a credit and a delight to him.i Being possessed of a. great amount of energy and commpnsense he moved himself in the direction of opening up the district. He stood for the Cobden Riding for the Grey County Council and , was elected During the tejrm "kg "served as a^Councillor he wgff most successful in getting his riding attended to. Among.st the' members of the Council his death with be/"sincerely mourned, as he was respected and esteemed by all. He filled tpe County chair for twp years and gave general satisfaction. To the bereaved wife and family the sincerest sympathy [is extended. We regret, along with all Vpur readers, that death has removed torn our midst honest Dennis Ryall.
