GREY BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.
The annual general meeting of the contributors to the above waa held at the Town Hall last evening. The attendance was limited, and the Yen. Archedacon M'lean was voted to the chair. The secretary read t'le minutes of the last annual meeting which were confirmed. Tho annual report of the Trustees and the ba'ance sheet were rea<s, received and adopted. Mr Arnott proposed and Mr Petrie seconded the re-election of Yen. Arohdeacon M'Lean. Mr M'Caul proposed and Mr M'Gulre seconded the nomination of Mr Abe Webber. Mesara Revlngton and Kettle were appointed scrutineers. The question having been raised by Mr Kettle as to who were entitled to vote. After diaenssion It waa resolved to proceed with the election of a trustee, and the ballot resulted as follows : — Maclean, 10; Webber, 6. The report and balance iheet were ordered to be published as iißual. A vote of thankß to the Trustees for their past services was given ; as also a vota of thanks to the Chairman ; and this concluded the business.
