The RMS Arawa, ' from London arrfved at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon and sailed at noon to-ol&y for NeV'Zea land. She brought 33 passengers foi Australian ports and has 75 for New Zea land. (Received February 9, at 10 30 a m. Thursday Island, February 9. Daring a fierce gale thq. cable ship Re corder was driven ashore, but in such f position that she afterwards floated off un injured. r Perth, February 9. The barque Shornilo, laden with rail way iron, has been completely gutted bj fire. The origin is unknown.
