RAILWAY ACCIDENT IN TASMANIA.

Hobakt, July 24. As the express train from Launceston tast night was crossing Bridgewater, about 20 miles from thi3 city, the swing bridge opened. The engine fell, and got jammed against the buttress. This prevented the carriages following, but the tender was turned topsy-turvey and dropped into the river. The fireman and one other person are missing, and are supposed 10 have been drowned.
