HOLMES' S MOTION NEGATIVED.

-In the House of Commons last night, the Right Hon. H. Holmes brought forward his motion, notice of which had previously been given, to the effect that the House declines to vote supplies for Ireland without information as to the intention of Government with regard to that country. After a considerable discussion a division was taken, with the result that the motion was negatived.
