RAILWAY ROBBERY.
Timaru, March 5.
The railway station at Timaru was robbed of sixty-eight pounds fourteen shillings to-day. The money was contained in a leather bag in the ticket office, and during a few minutes absence of the clerk was stolen. It is understood no clue has yet been received. The authorities and police are very reticent about the matter.
