ACCIDENT TO A RACEHORSE.
A telegram from Carterton states that P. F. Tancred's well-known racehorse Consul had his hind leg broken yesterday. It is said that a boy driving him out of the paddock threw a stone at him. The horse has been slung and the leg set.
