In the Supreme Court this morning the case of Regina v. Hon. Jno. Martin, M.L.C., was heard before Judge Richmond. It was a suit brought to recover £500 damages in respect to a small piece of land forming portion of the approach to the Hutt bridge, which it was alleged defendant had many years ago sold and conveyed to the Provincial Government, but the conveyance of which not having been registered defendant had since obtained a title to under the Land Transfer Act, and resold it to another party.
