January 24. News is to hand from Zanzibar reporting that the coronation of Queen Ranovalo the Third, of Madagascar, lias been celebrated with great rejoicing. Patriotic speeches were delivered on the occasion by the newly-crowned Queen, and by her Prime Minister, both of whom declared their determination to preserve the integrity of the kingdom against French claims, and of refusing to yield an inch of territory at the demands of the besiegers, A VIOLENT STORM, A violont storm passed over Great Britain last night, and many wrecks attended with loss of life occurred, and several pm-sons were killed by falling chimneys. RELIEVING BELEAGURED GARRISONS. Caiuo, January 23. It has been definitely decided to relieve
the beleagured garrisons' of Sinkat and i Tokar without further delay, and active ; operations to that end are imminent. : TRANSPORTS FOR TONQUIN.
Paris, Jannary 23. Two transports sailed for Tonquin with reinforcements. Pending their arrival no attack will be made upon Bacninh.
