AN OLD COLONIST DEAD.

Nelson, May 30. The death is announced of Mr Henry Seymour, who arrived in 1841, and who was one of the founders of the firm lately known as N. Edwards and Co., and now carried on as J. H. Cocks and Co. The deceased was grandfather of Mr C. Y. Fell, the present Mayor, and he died in England, where he has resided for many years, aged 86. He was well-known by old colonists.
