HOKITIKA NEWS.
Hokitka, April 4. The Jackson's Bay Commission sat all to-day, principally engaged in taking the evidence of Mr Barff, M.H.R., who moved in the House for the inquiry. He failed to substantiate the charges made by him as reported in Hansard. The Commission will sit again to-morrow. The Supreme Court will sit to-morrow for the appeal case, Dawson v. Crocker. ( The District Court sat to-day. The business only lasted ten minute 3.
