Educational. ST. PATRICK'S SCHOOL, GREYMOtTTH. MR JOHN CLAUD AHEARN (Of St. Patrick's College, Melbouure), Head Teacher. For the ordinary school fee the following subjects will be taught .'—English, French, Spanish, Latin, Greek, Book-keeping (single and double entry), Algebra, Euclid, Men suration, Geography, Navigation, Astronomy, Optics, Pneumatics, Chemistry, Keadiag. Writiag> Composition, Correspondence, and Elocution. A Lady Assistant Teacher has been provided. During the ordinary school hours, only auch subjects will be taught as belong to a thorough English education. N.B.— Mr Ahearn sent up two pupils for the New Zealand Civil Service examination, both of whom passed — one being high on the list of merit. Sixteen of Mr Ahearn's pupils passed the Matriculation and Civil Service examinations at the Melbourne University.
