Melbourne.— From the Argus of the Bth inst. we learn that breadstuff's were in demand and prices firm. Sugars were in favou, and 1000 bags of medium to fine whites had been' sold at from L 36 to L3B. A small of fine teas' had changed hands at 2s 2d. In liquids sales are noted of Hennessy's pale' brandy in quarters at 9s. Geneva is wanted, .and further offers of 14s for JDK& aave been refused. An inquiry for Bass's > ale has led to the sale of ' 150 hhds at LB. Sales of Burkes stout are making at 13s 3d.!
