I , Mr W. A. 0. A'Beckett is the Minist- . erial candidate for the vacancy in the reI presentation of the Southern Province in the Legislative Council. Two Liberal candidates are is the field for the representation of East Bourke in the Assembly, namely, Mr John Orr and Mr Lobb, the Mayor of Brunswick. The Liberal party will no douht accept the decision of the public meeting which is to be held at Campbellfield on Monday next (24th ult.) and will concentrate their votes on tho candidate who makes the most favorable impression on that occasion.
