[PBB PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, September 16, The gold medal which Messrs Joubert and Twopeny had struck off for presentation to Her Majosty the Queen, to celebrate the opening of the Ohrietohnroh Exhibition, was sent home by Hie Excellency the Governor and presented to Her Majesty by Earl Kimberley, from whom a despatch has bsen received conveying an expreision of thanks from the Queen to the promoters of the Exhibition. Th« New South Wales football team arrived at 11.30 thi« morning by the Hawes, and landed in a pelting rain. Should the unfavorable weather continue it will be impossible to play a match to-morrow. Owing to some dissatisfaction in the selection of the local team, the committee have reconsidered matters, and have selected Brown to take the place of Campbell. DUNEDIN, September 15. Mr Goodman’s horses Sir Modred, Somnus, Idalium, and Hilarious are to be sold by public auction on the Slit inst.
