ST. ALBANS ELECTION.

ELECTOBS BEWABE. To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —St. Albans, in conjunction with the other electoral districts thoroughout New Zealand, will to-morrow (Friday) have to select one of tha candidates offering themselves for Parliamentary honors, to represent them in the next Parliament. As an elector of the district and a working man, I hope, sir, that tho electors will return the man who will serve their interests in the true sense of the word ; one who will go to Parliament unfettered to particular party or clique. Mr J. L. Wilson has proved himself a useful man to the district In advancing our interests in many ways, and I trust we shall evidence our appreciation of his public services to the district by placing him »t the head of the poll to-morrow. Mr J. E. Brown has proved himself, by his past actions in Parliament, which are too well I known to the public to require any com--1 ment, and the district in particular,

to be the enemy of the laboring classes and the small farmers struggling for an honest living. As for Mr O'Neil, well, sir, we don't want a young colt, to use the term applied to him by his nominee. We want a practical man ; a man who knows the requirements of the dlstriot. And there is no question as to Mr J. L. Wilson being the most suitable man, possessing, as he does, both the necessary experience and ability. Yours, &c, AN ELECTOR. Springfield Eoad, December Bth, 1881.
