Mrs. Earhart informed the Austra lian Associated Press that she will fly to Australia, departing early in March from Oakland; She will tou h at Honolulu .thence Howland Island, and thereafter Lao. New Guinea and Port Darwin, turning back immediately and proceeding along the usual Imperial Airways route to India, thence to Dakka (Africa), Natal (Brazil). Mexico and Miami.
Captain Manning, veteran merchant marine officer, will act as navigator across the Pacific only and will leave her when thev reach Australia.
