BOARD. OF G OVER NOILS' The monthly meeting A. f Ihe High School Board of: Governors was held yesterday afternoon, the following members being present: Me.%>rb F. W. Nolan (in the chair) J. H. Simderland, H. IT. DeCostn. T. Toed, and thcl rector, Air J. Hutton. Tho resignation of A.’.iss E. E. Stephens, owing to her appointment as principal of the Palmersnon. North Girts High School, was nec.ep_.-d with regret, and it was- decided that a letter should he forwarded voicing Vhc board's appr.eciatioii of her -sorvictes. "Mr C. O. Frazer’S resignat i was also accepted with regret an:l it was resolved that a letter he sent expressing appreciation pf i is. seructs and him on his appointment on ':ho staff of the )\ anganui Technical College. Mr Sunderland ' mentioned that during the month of I arm the school) would be without an agricultural' instructor,, and .'’•nggysced that in the event, of the position not being filled, the boys should pay v : s-‘ its to agriculural occupations in the district.
