RECORD ENTRIES REGER ED

INCREASES IN ALL SECTIONS.

Record entries have been iecerivd. by the Poverty Bay Horticultural Society Vor the annual Rose Show to be held, in tho City Hall today. Interest displayed in. the fixture has been exceptional and the display space is taxed - to the limits by tn e thousands of blooms which are coming forward. In the decorative section, fop instance, the entries number 101 as compared uitli 08 last year and there --are very large increases, iiv alf other sections The floral displays are a new feature this year and should' prove of especial interest. Judging is 5 to commence this morning at 11 o’clock and prize cards to be placed in position ns soon as the awards arp made. It is expected . that- : judging- -will be completed by. 2- pirn. when the Show will - b° thrown’ open to the public. It wilf again be open tonight. Afternoon tea- will be available in tile halt!.
