A cyclonic storm of great severity swept Victoria, doing heavy damage to crops and property and causing two deaths. Frederick Set-pelT, 38, a. farmer, d’md from injuries when a storm swept his house away at Bolton. Serpell, liis wife, and two sons were preparing to retire when the house was lifted bodily and the wreckage strewn for nearly 100yds Hem the site of the house. Serpell was found oOvds. away. Ilis wife and children suffered minor injuries. Airs. James'Hogan’s homo at Heywood was completely wrecked. She had no chance of escaping.
