SEA TERROR.
ITALIAN WARSHIPS. LONDON, Oct. 27. The Italian battleships, Vittorio Veneto and Littorio, which are to he laid down to-morrow, will attain the maximum allowed by the Washington Treaty, the naval correspondent- of “The Times” states. They will be of 35,000 tons each and carry 16in. guns. No existing British battleships could overtake or engage on equal term's these Italian ships, whose speed will be from 26 to 30 knots. Britain’s three battle-cruisers, resigned 20 years ago, have loin. guns.
