At the AVanganui Jubilee Show on AA ednesday, the much coveted bud elmmpionship. and the best- bull ’A the New . Zealand championship c Us£ suitable tor, the chilled beef Trade, . :were won by 'the two-year rolled"? Hereford, Beau Gem, owned by Al r - F. E. Humphreys and not by Air Hutchinson, as was stated yesterday. Particular interest was taken in the cliillcd beef -championship in winch tho quality was outstanding. Iu the New Zealand championship stud class, Beau Gem was beaten ba Polled Angus cow, but had the honor of defeating all the other bulls in the face of very strong competition, and was, placed second t° the cow.

In addition to the Hereford huh championship annexed b v Beau Gem Mr. Humphreys’ cow Be,lie Gem was awarded tho reserve championship, and he secured the following pr'z° s: Second witli tho two-year hciicr Leonora and third with Hilda; second in tlio yearling bull class with Gemdalo
