Giving a verdict against tbc British Board of Boxing Control in favour of Doyle, ordering tha payment of the stake to him, Mr. Justice McKinnon commented that pecuniary rewards lor boxing were almost beyond tire dreams of avarice. In this case the winner received a sum much greater than a . year’s salary of the Lord Chief Justice of Appeal.
