FRANCE'S MORAL PLEA. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT; (Received Mav 3. 5 p.mA LONDON,* May 3. Sir J. Braddnrey. at Manchester, said that there was no doubt whatever tint France could make a considerable contribution towards the payment of her debt to Britain and America. France has production in excess of consumption far greater than any nation in Europe. France however, p'eaded with a certain amount of" reason that there were moral considerations which should induce her creditors to treat her favorably. It was possible that if we put our demand too high, France would find repudiation would suit her better than tho attempt to meet her allegations.
