PAHIATUA RESOLUTIONS,
Press Association Telegram. PAHIATUA, May 10. A large public meeting addressed b v the district member, the Mayor and others unanimously resolved: ‘ ‘That in the opinion of this meeting the demands of the Second Division League are the least possible minimum which should bo paid to married men and their dependents.” 'Committees were appointed to consider matters in relation to the affairs of district soldiers and also to assist men and tlioir dependents to apply for such pay and allowances as they are entitled to.
AUCKLAND RESOLUTION.

AUCKLAND, May 10. The executive of the Second Division League carried a resolution affirming that physical fitness should be the sole test of liability for mili-t-ary service. . The presi-dent was appointed a delegate to the Dominion Conference, and was instructed to use all his influence for standing solidly for constitutional methods to obtain the ends for which the League is aiming.
