NOTES.

The Ripple arrived from south yesterday morning and left on the return journey in the evening. The Monowai arrives from southern ports this morning, and will be -tendered about 7 a.m. She will be tendered again at 2 p.m. before leaving for Tokomaru and Auckland. The Rosamond is expected to clear Timaru to-day and may be expected here on Tuesda v or Wednesday. The Arahura leaves Auckland this evening and will arrive as visual tomorrow, leaving later for Napier.
