WELLINGTON, April 17. A Gazette Extraordinary states that the maximum price of flour, pollard and" bran (2001 b sack), ;•.:•* sold by manufacturers free on board nearest port on usual trade tgrms has been fixed respectively at £ls 10s, £5 10s, and £7 10s per ton, and when the nearest port is other than Lyttelton, Timaru or Ocmaru, the cost of carriage by sea from Lyttelton shall be added to the maximum pi-ice. It is also announced that the maximum price of butter as sold by the manufacturers and delivered in boxes at the factory on tlie usual trade terms shall be Is 5d per lb, and the maximum price of butter as sold by tlie retailer Is. 8d per lb.
