GISBORNE RECRUITS
PASSED AS FIT.
At the G-avrison Hall yesterday afternoon two recruits came up for medical examination and were passed as lit and attested for the 25th Reinforcements.
Their names are: Papworth, Geo. A., single, 31 years, laborer/ AVharekopae. McMillan, John, .single, 3S years, electric linesman, Kaiti, Gisborne The following men have been passed as lit and attested- at Wairoa:—
Parker, Cyril J. E., married, solicitor, AVairoa (25th Reinforcements) .
Mayo, Herbert, single, single, Wairoa, (25th Reinforcements). AYilliams, A. J., laborer, Erasertown (24th Reinforcements). Middleton, Joseph, laborer, Erasertown (24th Reinforcements). The following recruits were attested on Thursday afternoon: Tom Flower, single, 27 years, Methodist Mi s sioner, Gisborne, and Joseph Gellior, single, 21 years, draper’s assistant, Salisbury Road, Gisborne (25th Reinforcements), -were passed as medically lit and attested. Stewart AVilson single, 20 years, bank clerk, Tologa Bay, was attested for the 26th Reinforcements. One man was passed as fit for home service, and one man was rejected. David Morrisoy, married. 35 years, - laborer, AVairoa, has gone to Trentham to join the Gisborne quota for the 23rds.
