SYDNEY, Nov. 24
ft is stated in Union circles that the miners are prepared for a three months’ struggle. It is estimated that there are 15,000 idled men alone as a result of the strike and 121 steamers are laid up at Commonwealth ports. Potatoes jumped 100 per cent today.
The Coal Conference reached a deadlock and adjourned until .Monday, when Mr Hughes lias promised- to state the Government’s intention.
