ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

SCOTT—FRA-SKR. H'le town residence. in Bright Street, of Mr Thomas Fraser, ol' Potiawa, presented a gay scene yesterday, in honor of the marriage of Mr and Mrs Fraser’s youngest daughter (Nellie) to Mr R. I. Scott, of the local post and: telegraph office. The union of the happy couple has been looked forward to with a great deal of interest locally for some time past by a wide circle of friends and well-wishers, and when the lley Mr Grant had completed the ceremony those present showed in no unmistakable manner their joy by congratulating the newlymade pair in many ways. The bride, who was a picture of loveliness, was given away by her father, and wore a gown of white channelise satin, trimmed with honiton point lace. The bridesmaid. Miss Nonna Friar, was attired in white satin, with net overdress. Mr Roliert Fraser was host man. The bride and bridesmaid carried shower bouquets of white and pale pink dowers. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a pearl bangle, and a pearl and diamond brooch to tig; bridesmaid. The bride’s gift to the groom iwas a gold watehohain. After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Fraser entertained the guests in a large marquee erected in the grounds. Happy speeches suitable -to the occasion were made by Rev. \V. Grant Messrs John Bright, Mciklowie. T. Fraser, sour., T. Fraser, jun.. Machell, R. Fraser, and Osborne. The®exhibition _nl presents was magnificent, the glittering show being well worth a visit. Cheques covering a goodly amount were also in evidence. Mr and Mrs Scott lefton their honeymoon tour hv the Takapuna in the "evening, and as the steamer departed from the wharf the hundreds of friends of the happy couple present showed! their sense of gladness hv bestowing on them the (rest of good luck, combined with showers of rice and confetti.
