Air S. H. Greaves, of Kanakanaia, was sworn in as a J.P. by Air W. A. Barton, S.AL, on Saturday. Air W. A. Barton. S.AL. leaves for Wairoa to-day to conduct the sittings of the Afagistrate's Court there. Rev. Father Lane proceeded to To* komaru Bay by the s.s. Alonowai o:i Saturday morning. Air Justice Hocking arrives in Gisborne on Saturday next to preside over the session c of the Supreme Court commencing on Alonday next. Rev. Father Cnrran, who has been on the sick-list for some months returned by the Westralia yesterday and will immediately resume' work in Ormond parish.
