JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. The following is the draw for the junior championship match, the first round of which is to !>? played to-day: .Brewster v. Muir; Barnard v. Andrew; Jeffreys v. "Watson; "NY. A. O’Meara v. Balfour; A. D. Murray v. George; Moore v. I. B. Smith; Bennett v. deLautour; Grant v. S-pifls--3»ury; "VY. B. Mullock v. C- Morgan: P. O’Meara v. Nolan; Schierning v. Kells. CHAMPIONSHIP PULES. The following special local rules for the senior championship have been framed : Hole 2.—A tee shot must be 22yards from first- fence to get the benefit of local rule re bad lie. Hole o. —The only fences to hamper any shot to be those crossed when playing the 4th hole, the fence on railway and so much of the fence as encloses the plantation. The plantation is a hazard. Hole 0. —If tee shot lies in bunker alongside green ball may be lifted and dropped not nearer hole without penalty. Hole 13.—1 f tee.shot lio.s in loose sand bunker in fairway ball may be lifted and dropped not nearer hole without penalty. Hole 18. —Tee shot must be 22 yards from first fence to get the benefit of local rule re bad lie-Subj-ect to special local roles applying to holes 2 and 18 a. ball may be lirted from hoof marks with the permission of opponent or scorer. In the junior championship a ball may be picked out of any hole made by greenkeeper. A ball on the green may be cleaned of any mud. A ball hitting any telephone wire may be replayed without penalty.
