The effects of the drought ore apparent by the smaller numbers offering, while prices, excepting for a few special animals, are 50 per centum below the previous -year’s opening price:;._ South African buyers are •’operating freely, the purchases including three rams at 220. 140, and 300 guineas respectively. Other top figures were 410 and 310 guineas.
