The Meteorological Office to-niglit issued the following weather summary and forecast: — The barometer has risen slowly in tne northern districts, but fallen in the South. Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed with showery weather on the West Coast, but fair weather on the Eastern Coast. Present indications are for unsettled and showery weather generally, moderate to strong westerly winds, and though very unsteady in the southernmost districts, a falling barometer generally.
