Earl Russell, who in 1901 was found guilt- of felony by the House of Lords and was also' sentenced to three months’ imprisonment for bigamy, has been granted, a free po-rdon. H.M.S. Crescent and Gibraltar have sailed- from London for Colombo' with relief crews for the Cambrian, Pyrames, Penguin, Psyche, and Pioneer. The late Sir W. S. Gilbert’s estate has been valued at £111,971.
