The National Dairy Association to day affirmed tho desirability of having ono man at tho head of the Dairy Department as Commissioner, whether ho was selected in tho colony or outside ; that a factory he allowed to register and uso only two brands ; that exporters bo not allowed any private brand ; that inspectors of machinery be invited to inspect dairy factory boilovs during tho winter months. Tho Chairman undertook to bring beforo the committee the desirability of amalgamation with tho North and South Island branches. Tho Conference lias eoncladod.
