Fuad Pasha, the ex-Turkish Minister, who was recentlv sentenced to life-long internment at Damascus, is reported to have been assassinated with the full knowledge and consent of the Sultan. Six miles an hour is the limit of speed allowed for motor-cars at Kimberley, South Africa, where it is the duty of the sanitary inspector to see that the regulation is not infringed.
